By car from any direction outside of the city, get to Route 84
and take the Asylum St. exit, # 48.
From 84 Westbound, at exit 48
Go to the traffic light at the end of the exit
ramp, and turn right. Asylum Street becomes Asylum Avenue here, so the street sign says
Asylum Avenue. We’re about a mile up the road on the left.
From 84 Eastbound, at exit 48A
At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp,
turn left onto Asylum Street. It becomes Asylum Avenue almost immediately. At the first
traffic light, stay in the center lane and go straight. Asylum Street becomes Asylum
Avenue here. Go straight, avoiding the left fork. We’re about a mile up the road on
the left.
From the South End
Take Broad Street to Asylum Avenue and turn left

From Washington Street turn left onto Capitol,
right onto Broad, and then left onto Asylum Avenue. We’re about a mile up the road on
the left.
From the North End
Take Sigourney Street to Asylum and turn right.
We’re just over a block up on the left.
By Bus
Take the A bus to the corner of Asylum Avenue and
Woodland Street.
OR
Take the E bus to the corner of Farmington Avenue
and Woodland Street.
OR
Take the S bus to St. Francis Hospital at the
corner of Woodland and Ashley Streets.
