Shirley M. Pripstein
Shirley M. Pripstein has practiced at GHLA since 1980, with a concentration in family law until 2016. She has served as a family law special master in Hartford, New Britain, and Rockville Superior Court, as well as at the Regional Family Trial Docket in Middletown. She remains active in the Family Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, having served as chair in 2008 and legislation liaison for many years. She now does outreach to seniors and provides legal services including health care instructions and powers of attorney.
Prior to joining GHLA, Shirley worked in environmental and public health. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Temple University. She also holds a master’s in public health from Yale University School of Medicine.
