Vivian Moreno-Zelinka

Attorney Vivian Moreno-Zelinka works in GHLA’s housing unit. Prior to working at GHLA, she was the Principal Attorney and owner of Weaving Justice Law Firm, LLC, a firm providing low bono services in the areas of immigration, family and probate law. Throughout her legal work, Attorney Moreno-Zelinka has defended victims of domestic violence in family courts in Connecticut and Vermont. She has represented victims of crimes in affirmative humanitarian immigration cases for U-visas and Violence Against Women’s Act (VAWA) petitions, and represented children in the probate courts for Special Juvenile Status and USCIS applications. She was an intern with the GHLA family unit in 2014, a clerk with Probate Judge Terrance Lomme, and has volunteered at Interval House, She Leads, JUNTA for Progressive Action, Connecticut Bar Association Free Legal Answers and the Vermont ABA. In 2022 she was recognized as a Pro Bono leader by the CBA Free Legal Answers. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is licensed to practice in Connecticut, Vermont and New York.
