Kayla Steefel
Kayla Steefel is a staff attorney working in the family unit. She earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2022 where she held leadership roles in Law Review Journal, Phi Alpha Delta, The National Lawyers Guild, and Women’s Law Society.
She worked several internships throughout her time in law school, including the Victim Rights Center of Connecticut, where she worked on providing trauma informed advocacy and helping victims of crime file for U visas and work permits with USCIS, restraining orders, and Title IX hearings at universities.
Kayla earned her B.S. in criminal justice with a concentration in forensic psychology from the University of New Haven in 2019.
