Lisa Herrera

Lisa Herrera has been a staff attorney at Greater Hartford Legal Aid (GHLA) since 2023. Prior to joining GHLA, she worked at the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) where she represented individuals in their removal proceedings, primarily before the Tacoma and Seattle Immigration Courts. Lisa received her B.A. from the University of Washington and obtained her J.D. with a Certificate in Human Rights from the University of Connecticut. She is fluent in Spanish and admitted to practice in Connecticut, Washington state, and the Ninth Circuit.
