Ramona Mercado-Espinoza
Ramona Mercado-Espinoza has been a staff attorney at Greater Hartford Legal Aid since 2006, concentrating her practice in family law and pardons. She began her career as a Public Defender at Hartford Geographical Area Court 14 representing indigent persons. Later Ramona opened a private firm in Hartford, practicing personal injury, real estate, and family law. Because of her commitment to achieving equal justice for poor people through high quality legal services, Ramona served as a GHLA Board member from 1997 to 2006.
Ramona received her J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1986.
